White with one

White with one challenge this month is to use Lime and scallops.
Craig had a blanketas a baby... he used to suck the satin binding.. of course i washed it nearly every day when he had a nap and i replaced the satin a numbers of times and would cut it down in size to give it a fresh look..... towards the end it became about 10inches square.

At ChooksScraps this weekend they had there CCand i managed to do a couple of challenges.
this one was a scraplift of one of their Dt's

I went to stamp club yesterday and had a fab day lots of inspiration from the other girls and dare i say we had arvo tea with this yummy cup cakes

This card is just a simple card but very happy with the outcome

This is a very simple Xmas card background stamping embossed tree

This layout has been published in the latest Scrapbooking Memories Vol 10 no.9, the colours irl are much brighter.

What a beauty of a storm

We have a severe storm yesterday arvo we couldn't even see down the street, some of our trees were bent in half with luck we didn't lose any.
We lost power for 24 hours, some suburbs in Brissie are still without power, lost roofs and windows cracked.



We found this little green frog on the road but wasn't injured thank goodness hopped away to a new home.

i get very inspired by the talented lady, if you live in Brisbane you should go and do a class with annette it's well worth it.

One more Layout

the challenge i did was the Dt only, where the dt do a challenge for a voucher the non dt choose a criteria of 5 items.
We had to use Bling, 5Photos,circles, black and pink,and felt
below is my layout which i was very pleased with the result.

Color Combos Galore

A layout for Color Combos #95 Jolene over Scrapbook N bits introduced me to this site, this is the first time i've had a chance to do a layout.
In August a group of like mineded photographers went to under the story bridge and took a heap of pics of the City lights.

Challenge 3 you have to use Gold or yellow and Green but my fav colours but turned out ok

Some layouts

Here's Challenge one over at Scrapwithv CC. The first challenge was to use sand coloured card an action photo cluster of brads mixed title with 3 different type of alphas punctution quotion mark or brackets.
When we went to Lennox Heads back in April this year the weather was glorious and perfect for sufing as you can see from these guys taking a ride.

After all the rain we've had over the last few days all the insect and birds are coming to our garden.
