Lindy Gillespie May Reveal

Welcome everyone to my first post as
as a 2 Crafty DT...I must say it's such an honour
to be working with some
 amazing talented girls.
A big thank you to Vanessa and Di!

Now onto my first never seen before
layout.

Happy

I have used five pieces of
chipboard on this page
Anas Vine, Ruler under the vine,
Clock Face Frame, Sybill name plate
Frienship words,

Here's some close-ups of the techniques on the chippies

On the Anas Vine i ink in black using Prima Black Coal
and applying Shimmerz Texturez in Gritty Graphite with my finger
and just dabbing it on lightly.
With the rulers i just inked in Prima Attic Dust.

I cut the clock in half (to use in another projects)
inked in Prima Dark rust and and dabbed
intermittently with Prima Attic Dust.

On the frame i created  the same technique
which turns it a grey colour
On the Title word Happy
i just inked with Prima attic dust
and touched up the edges with
Black Coal

On my second layout
i went with lots of distressing

Making Faces

I also used five pieces
 of 2 Craft chipboard -
Mixed buttons,Corner arches,
Scallop banner, 2012 and
chicken wire

I painted the chicken wire- white
and wiped over the mix media inx-
leather then sneaked it under the
layers of papers on each edge

I cut the Corner arches in half
ink with mix'd media inx -Leather,
and inked  the year in the same manner
but using honey then layered  on top
of the corner chippie.

On the Scallop banner i embossed
with some embossing powder -
copper and heat set but let it bubble.
and place the other half of the Arch
under the layered papers.
lastly i just inked the button
in the same manner as the other chippies.

My last layout is one you have seen before
as i created it for OUAS for April

Remember

On this one I've used 3 pieces of 2 crafty
chipboard.
Iron FenceWrought Iron2012

I inked the Iron Fence and the 2012
in Prima - dusty attic.

 On the wrought iron
i paint in black and rubbed over some
Shimmerz Texturez - gritty graphite.

Thank you for popping by,
hope you were inspired to use
some chipboard on your pages.
my blog

Have a great day
