C'est magnifique Guest designer for February

                                  I'm so excited to be invited as the Guest Designer for
                                      C'est Magnifique Kit Club for the month of February.
                                             I've been a fan of the gorgeous kits they create,
                                            and this month is I had the pleasure to create with 
                                            the exquisite Manor House paper range Believe.
                                               
                                          Also you can purchase flower embellishment and 
                                  mixed media add ons,I just had to have the flower add-ons.
                                                 C'est magnifique also have a monthly sketch challenge 
                                                   it will be posted in the 1st february.
                                              I will have a few posts in the coming week 
                                    to share the sketch challenge and some more projects

On the first layout i choose to scrap

a vintage photo, which suited these gorgeous papers.

I first start with the punching some of the edges then tear the straight edges 

and ink them as a final touch.

As my style is lots of layering. I cut the Element, Frames and lace papers

and started layering including the black lace and the chippie,

firstly sealing the chippie with gesso and paint with distress paint.

finally adding some items from the ephemera pack. 

The flowers were from the main kit and the flower add-ons

For this layout I wanted to make the focus the 

Prima berry spray, using an older photo which i photo shopped.

 and together with the paper flowers from the add-ons 

and the fussy cutting of the butterflies blended into the 

a great design.

On the background I started inking the script stamp then adding some texture 

with masking & misting of shades of  walnut gold.

Under the berry spry i added lots of different 

layers including lace, elements ephemera some flowers from the kit 

and handmade rolled flowers
