OUAS Jan challenge- Lesson learnt

Journalling Theme: "Lesson learnt..."

You are free to interpret our theme ANY WAY you like. It is for your inspiration and this theme word DOES NOT need to be part of your title or journalling. But please make sure your layout is based on the sketch below and includes journalling (hidden journalling is fine). Acceptable journalling is MORE than just a sentence, or generic writing such as date/place etc. It needs to be present and at least 3 lines long. Remember, hidden journalling (under a photo/tag or behind your page) is perfectly fine but please DO let us know in your post where your journalling is!

'The greatest lesson in life'
l.

I think that the greatest lesson that each of us have learnt, is that never give up on something that you believe in, no matter how hard it might get just keep trying and you will succeed Don't give up.

So never give up, because your triumphs will define you,
and make you such a happy person for many years to come.
I normally don't scrap photo of myself
(most of us dislike photos of ourselves)
The photo i choose is one taken last week
walking along the sidewalk of the beach.
I decided to scrap a little colour this time.

'Summertime'

The background paper is an old Pink paislee mistables
so simple to add colour just with mists,
of course the thickness of the paper was just to hard to punch my borders
so i went with distressing and inking the edges.

on this closies you can read the journalling which is a classic quote about life.

Here is the 2 Crafty chippies - corner arch, funky tiny Frames,
Tiny Victorian frame and title Summertime

Thanks for visiting today hope your day brings happiness where i the world you live...

                                                                             Lindy xo

Aren't we all so guilty of not having photos of ourselves taken! I'm loving the sentiment you have used on this page, also the softness of your misting and the tearing of the papers! So glad you chose a OUAS challenge to scrap these photos of yourself...!
