April Inspiration by Lindy Gillespie

Hello and welcome to the 2Crafty blog.
Today I have 3 projects to show featuring
lots of fabulous 2Crafty chipboard pieces.

"Simply The Best"

Products used:
5" Floral Frame,
Lucy's Frame,
Fluer De Lise,
Simply The Best.

On the first layout

I have used The "5" Floral Frame",
First off I gave it a coat of gesso,
then a coat of white distress paint,
then dabbed it with some versamark grey ink.

Just under the layers I have used the
Lucy's Frame, which i cut into section
and used the flourish end,I treated it in the same
as the frame but just left it white.

In this pic just under the flowers
you see the Larger Fleur De Lise,
which i treated in the same manner as the frame.

On  the Title "Simply The Best"
I have added a layer of distress stain
under the ink, to give it a muted tone.

                                                                      "Smile"

                                                                            Products:

                                                                       Leafy Shrub 2,
                                                                       Nest of Hearts,
                                                                    6"Tahnya's  Border,
                                                                       Film Strip Medium.

I treated all the chipboard in the same manner
a coat of gesso then on the Nest of Hearts
which I cut into section and used only half.
After sealing it I added the pink watercolor
which gave it a mottled colour.

In the pic you can see the  Tahyna's Border and the Film Strip,
on the film strip after I sealed it,I then dabbed it with some black ink.
Next I sealed the Border in the same manner and then painted
                                         with some pink watercolor.

                                                                My 3rd project I made 2 cards.

On the first card I have used the cut off
of the Lucy's frame (from my first layout),
which i sealed with gesso and painted with
                                                                           white distress paint.
Also treated the Leafy Shrub 1 the same
and just positioned it around the circle of the frame.

On the second card I decided to combine
the different sizes of the 6" Clock face.
once again I treated the clocks
in the same way as the first card.
Also used one of Sharon's Butterflies,
and then dabbed it with some ink.

Thanks for calling by, I hope I
have inspired you to play with some
                                                                         2 Crafty Chipboard,
                                                                              until next time
