Once upon a sketch

A new man on the block is Once upon a sketch

which Nadia Cannizza created the site

with a fab bunch of DT's

this is the first sketch so i had to give it a go

the idea behind this site is lots of journalling

which is a lovely keepsake for future generations  to come

but me i hate my own handwriting but over the years

i had to get over it

so now it really doesn't bother me

here's a couple of close up and my journalling

can't wait thill the next sketch goes up in a couple of days

i found it last night doing some blog surfing

Sketches 2 Scrapbook is the result of several long months of inspiration and development from a little idea that I had at one of the late night crops I attended last year. There was a full room of people with cell phones looking for inspiration...

The whole premises for the app is that nearly everyone has a phone and more people are buying iphones or smart phones.... and they bring their phone with them everywhere ... to the crops, at the store, to their scrapbooking space. This app is a totally self contained system where you can search the sketches for the one that suits the layout you want to make - you can search by style, by number of photos, by embellishments, even by the number of different papers you want to use.
This is going to be where we hang out along with our Facebook page and on our Twitter account - where we share sneak peeks and the latest news about Sketches 2 Scrapbook.


a little bit about me:
My name is Anam Stubbington and I adore scrapbooking! I've been scrapbooking for over 7 years now and love every minute of it. I've been creating sketches for nearly as long -I've made them for classes, crops and events, and for the design teams i've worked with over the years.  I am the Sketch artist for Prima Marketing and for My Minds Eye and I run the Sketch Blog "Twisted Sketches".  You can read more about my scrapbooking at http://www.lovelifescrapbook.com/

Sketchy Thursday Nov sketch

This month we were challenged to use some orange and

a punch...

I punched out some flowers also used the circle punch and of course a MS

floral punch

masked with some mist (orange)

and just look at that gliter glass on those cute flowers

i have a find since it is so hard to come by ( it's the glitter that prima uses)

the photos are some old ones of Kate 

A lo for me

A layout that i have spent about a day on

a friend had this sketch so i borrowed it especially for this layout

the photo is my gorgeous Kate and her bestie on her wedding day

i used mainly MME and some prima flowers

scrapmats and zva pearls and crystals and some stamping too..

so lots of lo's coming up with the Lost and Found range..also used some Zva Bling
